Structural Components

The structural components make up the backbone that supports the structure.  To insure that the structure can withstand the extreme forces that homes are subjected too, these components must be sufficient in both construction and design.  Anticipation of dead load, lateral load and overturning forces is necessary in cases of high winds or earthquake protects the occupants of the home and its contents.  The occurrence of construction defects may increase the likelihood and extent of damage to the structure as well as injury to those inhabiting the house.
